Casa Oyambarillo se implanta en el terreno con una forma en V que se abre hacia el jardín, generando una relación visual continua entre todos los espacios interiores y el paisaje. Cada área habitable se orienta hacia el exterior, promoviendo una conexión directa con el entorno natural. La organización del proyecto responde a una lógica de apertura y expansión, acompañando la topografía del terreno sin imponerse sobre él.
La estructura nace de la tierra: muros de tapial construidos con mezcla de piedra, tierra y óxido negro emergen como elementos sólidos y enraizados. Sobre ellos, una estructura superior de madera laminada define el ritmo espacial con calidez y ligereza. Los materiales utilizados —todos naturales y saludables— favorecen una atmósfera habitable, pasiva y armónica con el lugar.
Casa Oyambarillo is set into the terrain in a V-shaped configuration that opens toward the garden, allowing all interior spaces to face the outdoors and remain visually connected. This arrangement fosters a deep relationship with the landscape, where each room benefits from direct exposure to light, air, and views. The design follows the contours of the land, embracing its form rather than altering it.
The structural system rises from the ground itself: rammed earth walls composed of soil, stone, and black oxide form a tactile, rooted base. Above them, a laminated timber framework defines a warm and rhythmic interior atmosphere. All materials are natural and health-conscious, creating a passive, breathable living environment in harmony with the surrounding nature.
