Esta vivienda urbana fue construida íntegramente en tapial, utilizando exclusivamente la tierra del propio sitio como material estructural. La técnica empleada, conocida como tapia costrada —de origen morisco en la península ibérica—, incorpora cal y piedra triturada para mejorar la resistencia y durabilidad del muro, además de óxidos naturales que enriquecen el color del material.

Los muros, de entre 40 y 70 cm de espesor, aportan una gran inercia térmica que garantiza confort interior pasivo durante todo el año. La estructura no cuenta con refuerzos de hormigón o acero, manteniendo una lógica constructiva ancestral y sostenible. Se han explorado nuevos acabados como el pulido superficial de la tierra, generando texturas tipo terrazo. Los entrepisos son de tierra y cal, y la estructura de los pisos se resuelve con madera laminada de pino, aportando ligereza y calidez a los interiores.

This urban residence is built entirely with rammed earth, using soil extracted from the site itself as the main structural material. The construction technique, called "tapia costrada"—inspired by Moorish traditions from Spain—uses lime and crushed stone to enhance the wall's strength and durability, along with natural oxides for its distinctive coloring.

Walls range from 40 to 70 cm thick, providing high thermal mass and ensuring year-round passive comfort. The structure is free of steel or concrete reinforcements, preserving a purely earthen construction logic. Innovative finishes include polished rammed earth surfaces, which resemble terrazzo in texture and reflectivity. Intermediate floors are made of earth and lime, while laminated pine beams provide a warm, lightweight structural solution for upper levels.
